The 5-Step Programme
You’ll journey through five carefully designed steps, building insight and momentum as you go, moving from a moment to pause to taking clear, intentional action.
This isn’t a straight line.
At times you might even feel like you are going round in circles.
It’s a cycle you can return to whenever life shifts again.
Permission to stop, step out of autopilot, and think.
You’ll create space to reflect, reset, and reconnect with yourself before making any decisions. We explore the power of the pause, and how we can use it in this moment of change.
1. A radical pause
Honest conversations about what change really feels like.
No judgement. No pressure for perfect answers.
Just space to explore confusion, emotions, resistance, and insight and get to know yourself in this new chapter.
2. acknowledging the Messiness
Curiosity instead of perfection.
You’ll discover ideas and possibilities, and uncover opportunities without pressure to get it “right”. We’ll explore the role of play in chaos and uncertainty, to help shift our energy.
3. playful exploration
Gentle action that builds confidence and momentum.
You’ll experiment, test ideas and ways of being; without the weight of expectation. We’ll understand how to create small steps, and thinking models that help create momentum to move forward.
4. courage to try
Step intentionally into what’s next.
This is about beginning again with wisdom, not certainty.
Carrying forward what matters. Letting go of what doesn’t.
Not a clean slate - a wiser one. We’l talk about what it means to take ownership of how you show up in moments of change, and what you want to happen next.
5. A Meaningful Restart

I didn’t set out to become “the change person.”
But change found me, in the form of redundancy.
What could have felt like an ending became the beginning of something entirely different. I decided to treat that moment of disruption as an opportunity. I started a blog… which became a book… which became a business… and ultimately a whole new chapter I could never have predicted.
That experience taught me: when we meet change with curiosity instead of fear, entirely new doors open. That’s why I created Another Door (in 2016) and why I now teach Change Mastery.
Before all of this, I spent 20 years in senior management roles with brands such as Costa Coffee, Whitbread, RAC, Virgin Atlantic and Vodafone. These days, I lean fully into my multi-hyphen life, consulting and contracting with brilliant clients including Channel 4, Reach, BAFTA, Anglo American, Harvey Nichols and Bristol Water.
I’m also an author with Penguin Random House and Bonnier UK, and the host of the Another Door podcast. Over the years, my work has been featured in the Financial Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, and Red magazine, and I’ve written for Platinum, Grazia, WIRED, We Are The City and Thrive Global.
Maybe the thing that matters most for this programme:
I understand change - personally, professionally, emotionally, creatively.
I’ve lived it, resisted it, embraced it, and rebuilt from it. I now learn it, research it, and keep growing my curiosity around my guiding question: How can we do change better?
And I’m here to help you do the same in your own way.
Together, we’ll turn your moment of change into your next opportunity,
and your simmering idea into the idea that leads your next chapter.
And as well as experiencing change yourself, you’ll develop the skill of Change Mastery, something that can change your life.
