Episode 123 - Alexandra Galvis - Opening the door to spiritual healing

In today's episode, I sit down with Alexandra Galvis, formerly known as Authentic Alex on LinkedIn. Alexandra takes us on a very open, honest and transparent journey from corporate day job to spiritual awakenings to ancestral discoveries, and from mystical ceremonies in Colombia to the retreats that radically transformed her life.

Alexandra shares her transformative experiences of uncovering family curses, awakening clairvoyant abilities, and healing ancestral lands. We'll explore her travels, encounters with spiritual guides, and the profound impact these experiences have had on her career and personal growth.

More about Alexandra

“ In July 2015, I began documenting my Heroine's Journey on LinkedIn. Every single thing that you'd be scared of sharing publicly, I've either written, videoed or spoken about over the years to disarm some of the societal conventions that keep these topics taboo.

After finding myself in a leadership position at 24, I experienced a quarter-life crisis that led me to leave the corporate world and create my new definition of success. Since then, I've been named LinkedIn Top Voice UK twice and become an official LinkedIn Learning Instructor with over half a million learners taking my courses. Shortly after, I co-created a side project called #LinkedInLocal, events inviting LinkedIn connections to meet in real life, which became the biggest hashtag campaign on LinkedIn. Creating communities in 100 countries and 1,000 cities with no budget before handing over the reins to LinkedIn.

However, at the peak of my entrepreneurial career as a Leadership Trainer, LinkedIn Coach & International Keynote Speaker I suffered a miscarriage and was plunged into grief, triggering a Dark Night of the Soul where I lost my identity, career, relationship, and joie de vivre. I began taking an interest in how we deal with loss and what it can teach us about love and how to truly live. I began learning that creativity can be a pathway to healing, mythology can be the alchemy for transformation, and writing can be a way back home. My healing journey eventually led me to take a nine-month sabbatical at the start of 2023 to reconnect with my roots in Colombia and Morocco where I researched my family's ancestry and genealogy.
