About Another Door

Change is personal.
So is the framework.

Another Door is built on one belief: that when something ends, something new becomes possible. Not despite the mess but because of it.

Change Mastery® is the framework that helps you think through it.

The founder's story

The unexpected gift of change you didn’t want

Eleanor Tweddell spent 23 years building a career in senior communications and change roles at some of the UK's most recognisable brands- Costa Coffee, Whitbread, RAC, Virgin Atlantic, Vodafone. She was good at her job. She understood change from the inside.

Then she was made redundant.

What happened next was not a straight line. It was a Pause, a Mess, a period of Play, a series of small Tries, and eventually - a Restart. She didn't know that's what it was at the time. But looking back, she could see the pattern. And she knew other people needed to see it too.

She started a blog about what job loss really felt like; honest, unfiltered, without the toxic positivity. That blog became a book. That became a podcast. And another book. That became Another Door Opens, and the Change Mastery® framework that sits at the heart of everything.

The framework is lived. Every step of it - Pause, Mess, Play, Try, Restart - was named by mapping and observing how people go through change.

Frustrated by the lack of acknowledgment about the messiness of human change, in corporate transformation, Eleanor began to design a system to help individuals to think through change. It was the missing piece of most programmes Eleanor was working on in her change consultant capacity.

Another Door is Eleanor and a group of associates who specialise in change and transformation including coaches, trainers, facilitators and freelancers.
